Donius W.

In August 1998 Donius W. was presented for keuring in Princeton, British Columbia and received a 2nd Premium. He then traveled to Texas in September for the 50-day Stallion Performance Test at Proud Meadows. While he had minimal training in preparation for the 50-day testing, he showed a great deal of heart in the intensive work required of him during the next two months. He received top marks for character and ability to learn and work. He also received a 10 for his beautiful walk.

He stands a noble 16 hands and has a 9 1/2 inch cannon bone. He displays the huge suspension in his gaits, and the wonderful temperment his breed is noted for.

Donius W. is already proving himself an outstanding sire. When crossed with thoroughbred, warmblood and arabian mares, he consistently produces good-looking willing youngsters with friendly temperments and free floating gaits.

He has done several driving exhibitions at stallion demonstrations, and will continue in his dressage training and carriage work.

Donius W. is available for cross breeding. His stud fee is $1500 Canadian, live cover or frozen semen, with a live foal guarantee.
