Karen reports: "I broke Grundy about one month after I bought him, and he took to it very easily, and never offered up much in the way of resistance. It was kinda like a new "game" to him that we could play. Since then he's been progressing rapidly, and is now solid in the walk, trot and canter, and starting to learn about coming on the bit and simple lateral work like leg yields. He's also gone on trail rides and is better behaved than most of the old horses! I didn't get a chance to compete at the big shows with him this summer like I'd planned due to work, but we did get out to one small schooling show in August. I entered him in the Young Horse class and, of course, he easily took first place! This qualified him for the championship class where he walked away as Reserve Champion of all the english entrants. I was extremely proud of my boy!"
