Qastalia (formerly Dail) is a 1997
mare by Donius W. from the thoroughbred mare Curiosity Marks.
Qastalia is a full sister to
Guinness and Winston,
and a half sister to the thoroughbred mare
Lucky Effort
who is the dam of Zavanna.
Jennifer's update:
Last year, I began training
with Allyson Rogers. Under her instruction, Qastalia (Leah) has
really begun to progress in dressage. She has a natural talent
for dressage combined with a willing attitude, making her an
ideal dressage partner. Leah's temperment is wonderful and she
has a genuine love for being around people. We are showing
successfully at first and second levels this year and attending
many clinics. According to my trainer, Leah is the perfect
horse for me. In addition to riding and competing in dressage,
Leah also loves to hack out through the countryside for a
leisurely ride. She is a pleasure to ride and work with and I
look forward to a very long and successful partnership with her.
2005:
Leah will be competing this year at third level. We are
currently schooling third and fourth level with FEI trainer,
Allyson Rogers in Arlington, TN. Leah is progressing very
rapidly and shows a natural talent for collection. She already
displays glimpses of a gorgeous passage! Despite the physical
and mental demands of working at the upper levels, she is very
willing and has a great work ethic. She has a natural desire to
please and is wonderful to train and ride. |
